So this is all new to me, never had a blog before, never felt the need to inform everyone of what was going on in my life on a regular basis. Until now. Everything changed October 5, 2009 when Kaiser called and told me that I had breast cancer. What?! Are you kidding me?! There must be a mistake, I don't have cancer. I not only don't have cancer, I've never missed a mammogram! How could this be happening to me?

Instead of going back and reliving every single day since that horrible phone call, I've decided to start where I'm at and look back occassionally. Besides, what good will looking back due now? I've got to look to the future now and start working on getting better.

The reason for this blog is to inform family, friends, and those just curious about what my daily life has been like since the diagnosis. My children, Johnny and Jordan, should have something to look back on someday and I want to start here. Thank you for joining us on this journey :)
